Itinerary

DAY 01: Your arrival at Paro Airport by Druk Air. Sightseeing Paro and Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02: Trek to Shana. Overnight at tented camp. Distance: 17km

DAY 03: Trek to Soi-Thangthangkha. Overnight at tented camp.

DAY 04: Soi Thangthangkha - Jangothang. Tented camp. Distance: 19km

DAY 05: Jangothang - Lingshi. Tented camp. Distance: 19km

DAY 06: Lingshi - Chebisa. Tented camp. Distance: 19km

DAY 07: Chebisa - Shomuthang. Tented camp. Distance: 17km

DAY 08: Shomuthang - Robluthang. Tented camp Distance: 15km

DAY 09: Robluthang - Lemithang. Tented camp. Distance: 19km

DAY 10: Lemithang - Laya. Tented camp. Distance: 10km

DAY 11: Laya acclimatization. Tented camp

DAY 12: Laya - Koina. Tented camp at tourist shelter. Distance: 19km

DAY 13: Koina - Gasa. Tented camp. Distance: 17km

DAY 14: Gasa acclimatization at the hot springs.

DAY 15: Gasa - Goem Damji. Tented camp. Distance: 21km

DAY 16: Goem Damji - Punakha. O/N at hotel. Distance: 17km

DAY 17: Morning Punakha valley sightseeing. Afternoon drive to Thimphu (3-4 hrs.). O/n hotel.

DAY 18: Thimpu - Paro Departure
Early morning drive to Paro Airport for departure. Tashi Delek!

Cost Includes

The guides, porters, accommodation and food were fabulous. We were also treated to 21 days of blue skies and sunshine and 4 inches of snow, which made a beautiful place even better. 13.05.10 01:31Il trekking del Kanchenjunga è lungo e classificato difficile, ma l'ottima organizzazione di Nepal Trailblazer, la competenza e la capacità di Bikesh Rana ( la nostra guida ) e di tutto lo staff l'hanno reso un'esperienza bella ed indimenticabile.
Tilak inoltre è stato un prezioso aiuto per risolvere i problemi sorti alla fine del trekking a causa dei voli sospesi nel periodo dell'eruzione del vulcano islandese, i quali ci hanno costretto a prolungare il soggiorno di altri quattro giorni.
Sembra che in Nepal ci sia un detto che dice "mai viaggiare in tre [...]" e noi eravamo tre, abbiamo avuto qualche contrattempo ma tutto si è risolto per il meglio grazie all'impegno dell'agenzia di trekking.
Ci sentiamo quindi di consigliare Nepal Trailblazer a chiunque voglia visitare questa magnifica nazione.

Druk Path Trek

The Druk Path Trek is one of the most frequented treks. It is a fairly short yet exhilarating trek that is both challenging and rewarding. The views, like most other treks in Bhutan, are fascinating and exhilarate ones senses, owing to the incredible beauty and majesty of the Himalayas.

The trek commences from Paro to Jele Dzong at 2591 meters, from where one can see the Paro Valley with snow-capped mountains behind. The trail to Jangchulakha at 2896 meters takes you through thick alpine forests and rhododendron trees. Follow the ridge next day to Jimilangtsho at 3353 meters, and be enthralled with the beautiful views of the mountains and the surrounding valleys. The Trail to Simkota at 3505 meters leads you through dwarf rhododendron trees passing by Lake Janetsho. The route to Phajoding at 2896 meters on a clear day allows one beautiful views of Mount 'Gankhar Punsum'. The final day of the trek to Thimphu is all downhill through forests of Blue Pine.

Campsites at lakes and the possible sights of Yak herders en route are the additional attractions in the trek.
