Glimpse of Everest Trek Details

  • Trip Highlights:Sherpa home down; Monasteries; amazing view of Mt. Everest; Lhotse, Thamserku, Amadablam, Namche Bazar; Scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu / Lukla / Kathmandu

This trek is comparatively easy one to some of other treks. The trek takes you up high along trails to Tengboche Monastery (3850m). Although, it is a short trek, offers very scenic trek giving you a really superb view of the world's highest peaks, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam & other many snowy peaks..

This trek starts from Lukla after taking 30 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From there we trek up to Namche Bazaar, Tyangboche (famous for its monastery, mountain views), Khumjung village, which offers a very nice settlement of Sherpas people.

This trek definitely gives a great introduction to Sherpa country & its culture along with fine mountain views. During trekking, you really find the area as a very popular destination for first time trekkers in Nepal. The trek is best suited especially for those people who haven't enough time for longer treks into the high mountains.

Testimonials

  • 16.06.10 13:44Dear Tilak,

We had never been to Nepal before or indeed done any trekking. I can honestly say that this was the best holiday ever, and that it was made better by Nepal Trailblazer Trekking Company. The guides, porters, accommodation and food were fabulous. We were also treated to 21 days of blue skies and sunshine and 4 inches of snow, which made a beautiful place even better. We couldn't have asked for a better guide in Bikram, his professionalism and knowledge was outstanding he even allowed us to beat him at cards! Also a huge thanks to Raj who carried our bags. The whole trip including our 5 days in Kathmandu will live in our memories for ever especially the generosity and hospitality of our hosts.
    Cheers

Thank you all for making our second EBC trekking trip in Nepal a lovely experience. Everyone was so friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. The care & attention given to me (Olivia) by Chhabi & Raz when I wasn't well was very re-assuring and our best interests were always put first.

From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu to the minute we left Kathmandu at the end of our trip, we were extremely well looked after and would highly recommend Nepal Trailblazer Trekking to anyone considering visiting Nepal.
