Equipment Checklist for hiking and trekking in Nepal

Trekking Clothing and Equipment
- 1 Sun hat
- 1 Woolen hat to cover ears
- 1 Scarf to cover nose and face
- 2-3 T-shirts for trekking
- 1 T-shirt for sleeping
- 1 Long – sleeved light shirt
- 2 Thermal underwear
- 1 fleece (pullover or zip)
- 3-4 pairs of underwear
- 3-4 pairs of trekking socks
- 1 pair of gloves
- 1 Waterproof / windproof jacket (monsoon/winter)
- 1 Waterproof / windproof pants (monsoon/winter)
- 1 quick drying Towel
- Sleeping bag* (4 seasons for trekking above 3500 meters elevation)
- 1 pair of trekking/hiking shoes/boots
- 1 pair of slippers
- Trekking poles*
- Water bottle
- 1 headlamp
- 1 duffel bag (50-60 litres)
- 1-day bag pack (25-30 litres)
Toiletries/personal hygiene:
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Toilet paper
- Sun cream
- Skin Moisturizer for cold
- Anti-bacterial gel
- Lip Guard
- Earplugs
- Nail cutter
- Toothpaste / brush
- Medicines/First aid kit
- Water purification tablets
- Bandaids
- Duck tape for blisters
- Diamox tablet against high altitude sickness
