Experience the most beautiful country in the world with a 12-day itinerary which will enthral the whole family.

Nepal is a gorgeous country with a rich culture and stunning natural landscapes, making it a great destination for a family holiday. Here are some suggestions for activities and places to visit:

But first, explore Kathmandu and its heritage sites.

Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, is a vibrant and exciting place to visit, with a mix of ancient temples, bustling markets, and modern shops and restaurants. Stroll through the old town’s narrow streets and visit Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Visit Chitwan National Park

Located in the southern part of Nepal, Chitwan is the residence of various wildlife, including tigers, rhinos, elephants, and many species of birds. Take a jungle safari on the back of an elephant, go on a nature walk, or visit a local village.

Trek in the Himalayas

Nepal is home to some of the most towering mountains in the world, including Mount Everest. While trekking to the summit might not be feasible for a family holiday, many shorter and less strenuous treks, such as the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, are suitable for families.

Experience Nepalese culture

Nepal has a rich and fascinating culture, with many festivals and traditions unique to the country. Attend a cultural show, visit a local village, or try traditional Nepalese food.

Visit Pokhara

Pokhara is a beautiful city in the Himalayas’ foothills known for its stunning scenery, including the Phewa Lake and the Annapurna Range. Take a boat ride on the lake, paragliding, or relax and enjoy the view.

Overall, a family holiday in Nepal can be an unforgettable experience, full of adventure, culture, and natural beauty. Just make sure to plan and take any required precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of your family.
