We offer a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Nepal Himalayas through a helicopter flight. You can combine this trip with other tours, as it is just a 5-hour day trip. On this trip, you will take off from Kathmandu airport in the morning and fly over Phakding village, Namche Bazar and Syangboche airport, located at the foot of Mt. Everest. And then finally, take a helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp and stop at the Kalapathar for photography.

Visiting Everest Base camp and Kalapathar by Helicopter tour is a lifetime adventure experience. It takes you to the centre of the Himalayas, where you’ll fly over some of the world’s tallest mountains. Your journey begins in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital city, which is 1350 metres above sea level. Then, after a scenic heli flight through the foothills of the Himalayas, you arrive at Lukla airport, which is 2804 metres above sea level.
Also, Lukla is the gateway to Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain. Here, you will stop for 5 minutes to store the fuel. And shortly after, you will fly and head towards the Khumbu region, home to the famous Mount Everest. During your flight, you’ll see amazing views of the Himalayan peaks. They include Amadablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, Nuptse and, of course, the world’s tallest mountain Everest.
A Lifetime Experience with a Helicopter Tour to Everest Base Camp
Once you reach Pheriche at 4300 metres above sea level, you will stop here for a shuttle flight to Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar. The helicopter has a capacity of 5 passengers (approximately 480 k.g.). And due to the high altitude, there will be 2 suttle of flights from there. Therefore, only 3 passengers will take the first shuttle flight to Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar, which is about a 10-minute flight. As you land at the Kalapathar, you will enjoy the view of Mt. Everest. And soon after a short photograph, you will fly back to Pheriche. And then, the remaining 2 passengers make the same trip to EBC and Kalapathar.
Enjoy the Breakfast at Everest View Hotel
After completing the 2nd flight, you fly to Syangboche and stop at the Everest View hotel at 3800 metres. You will enjoy your breakfast overlooking Mt. Everest and other Himalayan ranges. You will stop here for about an hour and have plenty of time for photography. After breakfast, you will fly back to Kathmandu.
