Monika Thapa Magar, co-leader of Nepal Hiking Pvt. Ltd. and Hotel Sohum, represents the new generation of leadership in Nepalese tourism. At 25 years old, she brings a modern, socially conscious approach to adventure travel, combining professionalism with purpose-driven leadership.

Her role symbolises a cultural and generational shift in Nepalese tourism, inspiring young Nepalese—especially women—to serve their homeland and pursue careers in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
