A brief itinerary;
Day 01: Lhasa Arrival [3650m]
- Arrive in Lhasa and acclimate to the altitude.
Day 02: Lhasa Sightseeing.
- Explore Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple.
Day 03: Lhasa Sightseeing
- Visit Drepung and Sera Monasteries.
Day 04: Lhasa to Gyantse [280Km, 3980m].
- Journey to Gyantse, visit Yamdrok-to Lake, Karo-la Glacier, and Pelkor Chode Monastery.
Day 05: Gyantse to Sakya [250Km, 4320m]
- Explore Shalu and Sakya Monasteries.
Day 06: Sakya to Everest North Face at Rongbuk [230 km, 5000m].
- Eco-bus to Rongbuk Monastery and Everest Base Camp (when access is allowed).
Day 07: Rongbuk to Shigatse [334Km, 3840m]
- Explore Rongbuk Monastery and travel to Shigatse.
Day 08: Shigatse to Lhasa [272Km, 3650m]
- Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery and return to Lhasa.
Day 09: Tibet Departure.
- Bid farewell to Tibet.

How to arrive in Lhasa?

By Air:

- Several major cities have direct flights to Lhasa, including Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, and Kathmandu.
- Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our local tour agent and transferred to your accommodation in Lhasa.
By Train:
- Take a train to Lhasa from various major cities in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi’an, and more.
- The Qinghai-Tibet Railway offers a scenic journey, and the train ride provides a gradual acclimatization to the high altitude.
- Arrive at Lhasa Railway Station, and the tour operators will arrange your hotel transfer.
