Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel, Kathmandu Suite Home, where you can relax after your flight. Take the evening to rest or explore nearby areas at your leisure.

Day 2Drive to Chame (2,710m)

The adventure begins with a scenic yet bumpy jeep ride to Chame. The drive takes approximately 7 to 8 hours, passing through terraced fields, traditional villages, and rivers. Upon arrival, you can enjoy the evening in this quaint village, preparing for the trek ahead.

Day 3Trek to Pisang (3,300m)

From Chame, the trek to Pisang takes around 5 to 6 hours. This section introduces you to your first stunning views of Annapurna II. The trail passes through pine forests and Mani walls, giving a glimpse of traditional Himalayan life. Overnight accommodation is in Pisang.

Day 4Trek to Manang (3,540m)

The trek to Manang takes 6 to 7 hours via the upper Pisang route, which offers more scenic vistas of Annapurna III and Gangapurna. Manang is a high-altitude village with charming monasteries and traditional stone houses. You will spend the night here, giving your body a chance to acclimatize.

Day 5Acclimatization in Manang

This day is reserved for acclimatization. You can choose to hike to the nearby Ice Lake or Gangapurna Lake, offering spectacular alpine scenery. The village itself provides opportunities to explore monasteries, local culture, and quaint streets. Overnight stay remains in Manang.

Day 6Trek to Siri Kharka (4,060m)

Today’s trek is a gradual climb of about 4 to 5 hours to Siri Kharka. Along the way, you will pass beautiful alpine landscapes with views of the surrounding peaks. The peaceful environment and high-altitude meadows make this a memorable section of the trek.

Day 7Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m)

The trek to Tilicho Base Camp takes around 4 to 5 hours on narrow trails, some of which include landslide-prone areas. The camp is surrounded by dramatic mountains, offering a true sense of isolation and high-altitude adventure. Overnight stay is at Tilicho Base Camp.

Day 8Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,018m)

Starting early in the morning, you will hike 4 to 5 hours up to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world. The lake’s turquoise waters are set against towering snow-capped peaks, creating a breathtaking panorama. After enjoying the scenery, you descend 2 to 3 hours back to Siri Kharka for an overnight stay.

Day 9Trek to Yak Kharka (4,050m)

Rejoining the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek route, the trek to Yak Kharka takes about 5 to 6 hours. You will traverse high alpine terrain and experience the solitude and beauty of the region. Overnight stay is in Yak Kharka.

Day 10Trek to Thorong Phedi / High Camp (4,450m / 4,900m)

This 4 to 5-hour trek prepares you for the challenging Thorong La Pass. The route gradually climbs through rugged terrain and offers views of surrounding peaks. Overnight accommodation is in Phedi or High Camp.

Day 11Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and trek to Muktinath (3,800m)

This is the toughest but most rewarding day of the trek. The 7 to 9-hour journey takes you over Thorong La Pass, one of the highest trekking passes in the world. After crossing the pass, you descend to Muktinath, where you can visit the sacred Muktinath Temple. Overnight stay is in Muktinath.

Day 12Drive to Tatopani (1,200m)

After descending through the Kali Gandaki Valley, enjoy the relaxing hot springs in Tatopani. The jeep ride takes a few hours, offering a scenic journey along the valley. Overnight stay is in Tatopani.

Day 13Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m)

The trek to Ghorepani takes 6 to 7 hours, ascending through lush forests and traditional Magar villages. Ghorepani is renowned for its stunning views and is the gateway to the famous Poon Hill sunrise. Overnight stay is in Ghorepani.

Day 14Early hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) and trek to Tadapani (2,630m)

Wake up early to hike to Poon Hill for panoramic sunrise views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. After the sunrise, continue trekking 4 to 5 hours through rhododendron forests to reach Tadapani. Overnight stay is in Tadapani.

Day 15Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m)

Descend and then ascend along scenic trails for 5 to 6 hours, entering the Annapurna Sanctuary zone. Chhomrong is a charming village surrounded by lush forests and waterfalls. Overnight stay is in Chhomrong.

Day 16Trek to Himalaya (2,900m)

Follow the Modi Khola river, passing Bamboo and Dovan, ascending gradually to reach Himalaya village. The trek offers stunning valley views and diverse landscapes. Overnight stay is in Himalaya.

Day 17Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)

Via Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC), the 6 to 7-hour trek brings you to the Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by a 360° panorama of towering peaks. Overnight stay at ABC provides an unforgettable high-altitude experience.

Day 18Sunrise at ABC and trek down to Bamboo (2,310m)

Enjoy the sunrise amidst the Annapurna Massif, then descend through the Sanctuary over 6 to 7 hours to reach Bamboo. Overnight stay is in Bamboo.

Day 19Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot Springs)

The 5 to 6-hour trek descends to Jhinu Danda, where you can relax in natural hot springs, rejuvenating tired muscles after days of trekking. Overnight stay is in Jhinu Danda.

Day 20Trek to Siwai and drive to Pokhara

A short trek from Jhinu Danda leads to Siwai, followed by a 2–3-hour jeep ride to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara and relax by the beautiful Phewa Lake. Overnight stay is in Pokhara.

Day 21Drive back to Kathmandu

After a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, you can spend the evening at leisure, preparing for departure or sightseeing. Overnight stay is in Kathmandu.

Day 22–23Leisure days in Kathmandu

These days can be used for shopping, cultural exploration, or optional sightseeing tours of Kathmandu’s historic sites and temples.

Day 24Departure
