Embark on an exhilarating flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a scenic journey offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Lukla, the adventure begins as you trek to Phakding. The trail winds through picturesque landscapes, with the sound of the Dudh Koshi River accompanying your journey. As you trek, the trail gradually ascends towards Namche Bazaar, a vibrant Sherpa town and the gateway to the Everest region. Marvel at the stunning mountain vistas and immerse yourself in the rich Sherpa culture while discovering the lively markets and meandering alleys of Namche Bazaar.

Take a day to acclimatize to the altitude and soak in the beauty of Namche Bazaar. Explore the surrounding hillsides or visit the local monasteries for a glimpse into the spiritual life of the Sherpa people. Use this time to rest and reflect on the journey as you prepare for the challenges ahead.

Leave the hustle and bustle of Namche Bazaar behind as you trek to Phortse Village, renowned for its stunning mountain vistas and traditional Sherpa architecture. Traverse through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows, soaking in the serenity of the landscape. Arrive in Phortse Village and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of this remote Himalayan gem.

Proceed on your trek to Pangboche, which is known for harbouring some of the ancient monasteries in the Khumbu area. With every stride along the trail, you’ll be treated to sweeping vistas of Ama Dablam and other majestic peaks, gradually unfolding the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayan landscape. Explore the ancient monasteries of Pangboche and immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere of this sacred place.

Today’s trek takes you to Ama Dablam Base Camp, nestled beneath the iconic peak that shares its name. Traverse through rocky terrain and glacial moraines with Ama Dablam towering majestically above you. Settle into base camp and marvel at your surroundings’ beauty and grandeur as you prepare for a night amidst the Himalayan wilderness.

Bid farewell to Ama Dablam Base Camp as you descend to Dingboche, a quaint village nestled amidst the rugged Himalayan landscape. The trail offers stunning views of Everest and Lhotse, with each step bringing you closer to the heart of the Khumbu region. Arrive in Dingboche and unwind amidst the serene surroundings of this remote mountain outpost.

Take a well-deserved rest day in Dingboche to acclimatize to the altitude and recharge your batteries. Explore the village and its surroundings, or relax and soak in the breathtaking mountain vistas. Use this time to reflect on the journey and prepare for the challenges.

Resume your trek as you travel to Lobuche, a remote settlement in the rugged Himalayan. The trail winds through rocky moraines and icy streams, with towering peaks looming on the horizon. Arrive in Lobuche and settle in for a night beneath the star-studded sky, surrounded by the beauty of the Everest region.

Today’s expedition leads you to the renowned Everest Base Camp, an iconic destination cherished by adventurers and mountaineers from across the globe. Traverse the icy wilderness of Gorak Shep, with the Khumbu Glacier stretching out before you. Arrive at Everest Base Camp and stand in awe amidst the towering ice seracs and prayer flags, fulfilling a dream that few ever realize.

Rise before dawn and embark on a magical morning walk to Kala Patthar, w0here you’ll witness the first light of day illuminating the world’s highest peaks in a dazzling display of colours. After soaking in the sunrise, descend to Pheriche, where cosy lodges and warm hospitality await.

As you bid farewell to the mountains, retrace your steps back to Namche Bazaar via the iconic Tengboche Monastery. Pause to offer prayers and blessings amidst the serene surroundings before continuing your journey. Arrive in Namche Bazaar and reminisce about the incredible experiences and memories made along the way.

As you conclude your trek, the last segment of your journey unravels, bringing you back to Lukla, where your adventure initially commenced. Important notice to travellers!

As you plan your journey, we recommend keeping 4-5 buffer days before your scheduled flight back home. Flight delays between Kathmandu and Lukla, or vice versa, are common even during the best tourist seasons, such as November. This buffer will help ensure a stress-free return trip and give you flexibility in case of unexpected delays.
