Embark on a profound spiritual journey with Nepal Hiking Pvt. Ltd. as we take you to Kailash Manasarovar Yatra via Lhasa in 2025. This carefully designed itinerary offers an unmatched blend of cultural immersion, breathtaking Himalayan views, and spiritual fulfillment.
Overview of the Journey
Your journey begins with an arrival in Kathmandu, where you will be welcomed and transferred to Kathmandu Suite Home (or similar) for your stay. The initial days in Nepal include visits to sacred temples like Pashupatinath and Sleeping Vishnu at Budhanilkantha, along with sightseeing at Patan Durbar Square. After final preparations and visa formalities, the adventure continues with an awe-inspiring flight over the Himalayas to Lhasa, Tibet’s vibrant capital.
In Lhasa, experience the rich heritage through visits to renowned landmarks such as:
- Jokhang Temple – the spiritual heart of Tibet.
- Potala Palace – the historic home of the Dalai Lamas.
- Sera Monastery – known for its lively debates among monks.
- Drepung Monastery – once the world’s largest monastic institution.
The Yatra proceeds with a scenic drive through the Tibetan landscape, stopping at Shigatse for a visit to the Tashilunpo Monastery, before reaching the serene Lake Manasarovar. Participants can partake in a traditional puja and havan at the lake’s shores. The highlight of the journey is the trek around Mount Kailash, which includes crossing the sacred Drolma La Pass.
The return journey takes you through Saga and Kerung, culminating in a drive back to Kathmandu.
