Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), our Office Representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel Kathmandu Suite Home. Overnight at the hotel, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 2Kathmandu Cultural Tour

After breakfast in the hotel, our driver will take you to Swoyambhunath Stupa where you will need to climb 365 stairs to reach the top of the pilgrimage and witness the stunning panorama of Kathmandu city.  Then, we will visit Boudhanath Stupa whose massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in the world.  

The another visit will be the oldest Kathmandu Durbar Square where the city’s kings were once crowned and and from where they ruled (durbar means palace). In the evening, visit Pashupatinath Temple and observe the Hindu cremation rituals as well as the lively ‘Arati ‘.

Day 3Scenic Ascent to Chandragiri Hill

On this day, we will go on a scenic drive towards the Chandragiri cable car station and  take a breathtaking cable car ride to the summit of Chandragiri Hill, where stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas await. Spend a serene time, visit the revered Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Overnight at the same hotel.

Day 4Fly to Pokhara, drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m/5051ft)

After breakfast, our driver will drop you to airport for Pokhara flight of around 25 minutes where you will enjoy the green scenary and himalayas of Nepal. At Pokhara Airport, your trek guide along with driver will pick you up and drive to Nayapul for an hour in Jeep/ car. From Nayapul, our trek officially starts walking 4-5 hours. Overnight at Tikhedhunga.

Day 5Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2860m/9380ft)

After heartful breakfast, today you can expect a tough day as you’ll need to trek around 6 hours by climbing more than 3000 stone stairs to Ulleri. However, if you are travelling in spring (March-April)the nature will compensate you with colourful blooming rhododrendrons and if during Autumn (October-November), breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. 

At Banthanti, we will stop to have lunch and then again climb to Ghorepani at 2850m. Following permit checks, tonight, we will settle in Upper Ghorepani from where we can see the magnificent panorama of Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Tukuche, Nilgiri (6940m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). 

Day 6Early Morning Hike to Poonhill (3210m/10531ft, and trek to Tadapani (2,630m/8,626ft)

Today is one of the most special day of our trek as we will wake up early morning to climb 45 minutes, Poonhill and witness the breathtaking first ray of sun over the majestic mountains  including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,040m), Annapurna south (7219m),Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Hunchuli (6441m), fishtail or Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Lamjung Himal (6,986m), Tukuche peak (6,920m) and Dhampus peak (6,012m) . We will spend couple of hours relishing each moment there sipping warm tea and return to our lodge to have breakfast and continue our trek to Tadapani with endless hills and jungles. Overnight at Tadapani.

Day 7Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m/6360ft)

Our seventh day will be the shortest of only 3-4 hours time duration descending steeply to the Gurung village, Ghandrunk where you will see traditional houses of Nepal made of stones adorned with dried maizes. Here, not only will you walk and observe the beauty of this place but also immerse yourself in the rich tradition and culture by dancing in Gurung attire with the locals. Overnight at Ghandruk.

Day 8Ghandruk to Pokhara

After breakfast, we will bid goodbye to Ghandruk and trek 4-5 hours downhill to Nayapul and drive to the ‘city of lakes’-Pokhara. We will check-in to a standard hotel and realx. In the evening, we can go on a walk  at lakeside and rejuvenate.

Day 9Pokhara Sightseeing

After having our breakfast, we will delve in to the beauty of Pokhara city by going on a sightseeing whole day. Firstly, we will start by visiting the oldest temple of Pokhara, Bindabashini which is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Durga, then we will go to see David’s Fall, initially named after a Swiss woman called David, who tragically drowned there. It is a stunning waterfall in Pokhara that, when it reaches its bottom, produces a 500-foot-long subterranean tunnel. Then, we will go to Mahendra Cave and International  Mountain Museum.

The next visit for the day will be Pumdikot Shiva Statue, a massive embodiment of lord Shiva offering panoramic views of Pokhara and the surrounding mountains. The whole statue is 21 feet tall about 1500 metres above sea level. At last, we can enjoy boating at Fewa Lake which is a massive embodiment that have a Temple called “Talbarahi Temple” in the centre of the lake.

Day 10Pokhara to Chitwan drive

Before leaving Pokhara, today we will wake up early to witness sunrise from Sarangkot framed by majestic mountains and then to Buddhist stupa, World Peace Stupa. After this serene morning visit, we will drive 5-6 hours to Chitwan through rivers, villages and green sceneries and check-in to a good lodge where you can rest. In the evening, we will go to Tharu cultural program where we can enjoy the vibrant and energetic Tharu dance in their attire. And if you like, you can join them and dance your heart out as well embracing the beauty of diversity and yet the love and unity that we share with all.

Day 11Jungle Activities at Chitwan National Park

After breakfast,your day starts with a tranquil canoe ride along the Rapti River where you will witness diverse birds and  marsh mugger crocodiles. It is advisable to wear neutral coloured full sleeves clothes as we will go on a short forest walk with a Certified Nature Guide. Then, we will visit Elephant Breeding Centre where we will witneess elephants  with their babies.

In the afternon, we will have our lunch and go on Jeep Jungle Safari for the sightings of Chitwan animals, like rhinos and spotted deer, exotic birds and if you are lucky Tigers too.

Day 12Drive back to Kathmandu from Chitwan

Saying goodbye to Chitwan, we will journey back to Kathmandu of around 6 hours drive reflecting on our experiences. 

Overnight at Kathmandu Suite Home or nearby hotel of similar standard.

Day 13Bhaktapur and Patan Sightseeing

After healthy breakfast at hotel, we will venture into the ancient cities of Patan and Bhaktapur, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites and famous for temples, unique culture and finest display of craftsmanship. 

Day 14Mountain Flight

For the best and worthwhile view, we will drive early morning to airport for the most awesome flight you will cherish forever- Everest Mountain Flight. Here, you will find yourself on the top of the world and closest to Everest. During the flight, you will catch a glimpse highest peaks like Gosaithan (8203m),Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Choba – Bhamare (5933m), Gauri-Shanker (7134m), Melungtse (7181m),Chugimago (6297m), Numbur (6956m),Karyolung (6511m) and of course, Mt. Everest (8848m). You can take as many pictures and videos as you like which you can to show to your friends, family and definitely, for a memory to look back and say you lived one of the the greatest moment of life.

The rest of the day you can spend by either taking rest at hotel or by buying souvenir from the nearest place, Thamel to take back home.

 

Day 15Departure

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Kathmandu Airport for your return flight back home hoping we made your travel to Nepal the best one so far.
