Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring Thamel’s lively streets, cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops.

Day 2Exploring Kathmandu and Trek Preparation

Full-day city tour visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites: Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and more. Time is also allocated for gear checks, trip briefing, and trekking equipment rental/purchase.

Day 3Drive to Koto

Travel via local bus to Besisahar, then transfer to a shared jeep to Koto. The route passes rivers, Tibetan villages, rhododendron forests, and terraced fields. Overnight stay in Koto guesthouse.

Day 4Trek to Meta (3,560m)

Trek 6–7 hours through lush to arid landscapes, cross rivers, pine forests, and a suspension bridge. Reach Meta Village, enjoy mountain views, and overnight in a clean guesthouse.

Day 5Trek to Phu (4,080m)

Trek past stupas, monasteries, and ridge paths. See Nar Phedi Monastery, colorful chortens, canyonlands, and Tibetan-influenced architecture. Overnight in Phu village.

Day 6Phu Village Cultural Immersion

Acclimatization day exploring Tashi Lakhang Monastery. Observe local crafts, yak and sheep grazing, wool spinning, and experience Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Day 7 Trek to Nar Village (4150m)

Trek 6–7 hours via Phu Gate Khyang, Chyarkha, Jhunam. Pass eroded hoodoos, sandy gullies, Zampa Cho Dzong ruins, and painted chortens. Overnight in Nar village.

Day 8Trek to Kang La Pass (5,322m)

Conquer Kang La Pass, the trek’s highest point, with panoramic views of Pisang Peak, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak. Trek 7–8 hours. Return to base for overnight stay.

Day 9Trek to Ngawal (3675m)

Descend to Ngawal village in the Manang Valley. Explore prayer wheels, traditional architecture, and stay in comfortable teahouses.

Day 10Trek to Chame (2710m)

Descend through the Marshyangdi Valley, pass pine forests, buckwheat terraces, and small villages. Optional visit to local hot spring. Overnight in Chame.

Day 11Drive back to Kathmandu

Return via shared jeep to Besisahar, then board a bus to Kathmandu (~9 hours). 

Day 12Kathmandu

Relax, explore the city, or purchase souvenirs. Farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 13Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport. Trek ends.
