    Day 1Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,460 m)

    Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from bustling Kathmandu to the peaceful village of Syabrubesi, about 7 to 9 hours on the road covering roughly 117 kilometers. As you travel alongside the Trishuli River, you’ll pass terraced fields and charming traditional villages – a beautiful introduction to Nepal’s countryside. Syabrubesi sits at about 1,460 meters, and here you’ll settle into a cozy teahouse to rest and prepare for the trek ahead.

    Day 2Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,337 m)

    Today, you’ll start trekking uphill through terraced farmland and dense forests, covering about 11 kilometers over 5 to 6 hours. As you climb higher to Gatlang, which is at 2,337 meters, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung peaks. Gatlang is a lovely village where you can enjoy warm hospitality and relax in a comfortable teahouse after your day on the trail.

    Day 3Trek from Gatlang to Somdang (3,271 m)

    This is a longer day, trekking around 16 kilometers over 6 to 7 hours, as you make your way through fragrant rhododendron and pine forests. You’ll pass Parbati Kunda, a sacred alpine lake revered by locals — a peaceful and spiritual spot. Somdang, sitting at 3,271 meters, offers stunning mountain views and a quiet atmosphere to unwind at your teahouse for the night.

    Day 4Trek from Somdang over Pangsang Pass to Tipling (3,840 m pass; 2,800 m village)

    Prepare for a challenging but incredibly rewarding day. You’ll hike about 17 kilometers, taking 6 to 7 hours to climb up to Pangsang Pass at 3,840 meters. The panoramic views from the pass of Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range are simply breathtaking – a true highlight of the trek. After soaking in the scenery, you’ll descend to the peaceful village of Tipling, resting at around 2,800 meters, where you’ll spend a cozy night in a local teahouse.

    Day 5Trek from Tipling to Sertung (2,400 m)

    Today’s trek covers approximately 15 kilometers and usually takes 6 to 7 hours. You’ll descend to Sertung, located at 2,400 meters, and immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Tamang and Gurung communities. Along the way, you can visit beautiful monasteries and enjoy the stunning mountain backdrop of Ganesh Himal. The village offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a comfortable teahouse to rest for the night.

    Day 6Second night in Sertung (2,400 m)

    This day is yours to relax and soak in the tranquil mountain vibes. You might choose to take gentle walks around the village, explore nearby monasteries, or simply enjoy some quiet time acclimatizing at 2,400 meters. Spending a second night here gives your body a chance to adjust and your mind a chance to absorb the peaceful surroundings.

    Day 7Drive from Sertung back to Kathmandu (from 2,400 m down to 1,400 m)

    On your final day, you’ll say goodbye to the mountains as you drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes about 8 to 9 hours, descending from 2,400 meters to the city’s altitude of around 1,400 meters. Along the way, you’ll pass through Lapang Besi, Todke Bazar, and Dhading Besi. and enjoy the changing landscapes of rural Nepal one last time. You’ll arrive in Kathmandu by evening, bringing your memorable trek to a close.
