Day 2Kathmandu to Pokhara (200 km / 6–7 hours)

After reaching Pokhara, you’ll check into your hotel near the beautiful Phewa Lake. Evening time is perfect to unwind and enjoy the lakeside restaurants and views.

Day 3Pokhara to Tatopani (105 km / 3–4 hours)

We leave the tarmac and enter the off-road section of the journey. The ride takes us through Beni and deeper into the Kali Gandaki gorge – the world’s deepest. You’ll feel the terrain begin to change as we gain altitude. Upon arrival in Tatopani, take a dip in the famous hot springs to soothe your muscles after the dusty ride.

Day 4Tatopani to Kagbeni (60 km / 3-4 hours)

A dramatic ride today leads us through Jomsom and into the Mustang region. The trail is rough but filled with incredible mountain vistas. Reaching Kagbeni feels like arriving in a Tibetan outpost, with its ancient houses, prayer wheels, and chortens. This is your gateway to Upper Mustang.

Day 5Kagbeni to Charang (75 km / 3–4 hours)

Today, we officially enter the restricted area of Upper Mustang. You’ll witness vast high-altitude deserts, red cliffs, and Buddhist villages with traditional architecture. The road climbs and winds dramatically. Charang is home to a beautiful fortress and monastery perched atop a hill. You’ll rest here for the night.

Day 6: Charang to Lo-Manthang (20 km / 2 hours)

A short but awe-inspiring ride brings us to Lo-Manthang, the capital of the former Kingdom of Lo. The walled city is filled with labyrinthine alleys, sacred monasteries, and the ruins of the old royal palace. Spend your day discovering the spiritual and cultural wealth of this isolated kingdom.

Day 7Explore Lo-Manthang and Ride to Choser Cave

Day 8Lo-Manthang to Kagbeni (95 km / 6 hours)

Day 9Kagbeni to Pokhara (165 km / 7 hours)

This is a long day of riding but one filled with changing landscapes — from the arid mustang plateau back into greener lower hills. Reach Pokhara by evening, where you can relax and celebrate the ride with your group.

Day 10Pokhara to Kathmandu (200 km / 6–7 hours)

Return to the capital via the same highway. Once back in Kathmandu, enjoy a special farewell dinner with your riding group to commemorate your unforgettable Himalayan journey.
