Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon reaching Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our team will greet you and provide transportation to Hotel Kathmandu Suite Home or a nearby hotel of comparable quality.

Day 2Trek to Nagarkot

After breakfast at 8 am, you’ll be introduced to your guide. Then, embark on a 1-hour drive to Jarsing Pouwa and a 3-hour trek to Nagarkot. In the evening, indulge in a yoga session with your guide and spend the night at Hotel Niva Niwa or similar. (Dinner and breakfast included)

Day 3Trek to Dhulikhel

Witness the sunrise and breathtaking Himalayan vistas, followed by a yoga session with your instructor. Following breakfast, commence a six-hour trek to Dhulikhel. Enjoy the sunset view and another yoga session in the evening, then spend the night at Hotel Himalaya Horizon. (Dinner and breakfast included)

Day 4Trek to Namo Buddha

Begin the day with a serene sunrise and Himalayan views. After breakfast, trek for 3 hours to Namo Buddha via the 1000 steps trail and Kavre Bhanjyang. In the evening, dine with the monks at Namo Buddha monastery in a prayer ceremony. Spend the night at the monastery’s guest house. (Dinner and breakfast included)

Day 5Trek to Balthali

Participate in the morning prayer ceremony with the monks before breakfast. Then, trek for 3 hours to Balthali and spend the night at Balthali Village Resort. (Dinner and breakfast included)

Day 6Return to Kathmandu

Start the day with a yoga session, followed by a village tour or a one-hour hike to the hillside. After breakfast, take an easy walk to Khopasi village before driving back to Kathmandu via Panauti village (2-hour drive, 45 km). Spend the night at Hotel Kathmandu Suite Home or a nearby hotel of similar standard. (Breakfast included)

Day 7Departure

A car transfer to the airport is arranged at least 2 hours before your international flight’s boarding time. This is the end of a memorable tour experience!

I recently completed the 7 day Yoga/Hiking Tour with Nepal Hiking. Everything was fabulous. My guide, Sudan, was incredible – he knew about everything – culture, religion, nature, Yoga, trekking. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Everything was organized perfectly – car pickups, routes, hotels, food, etc. All I had to do was show up and enjoy the ride. Truly an amazing experience.
Since I had another day remaining before my flight back to the US, Tilak recommended the Mt. Everest Aerial Flight and the 4 hour Kathmandu City Tour. Both of those were again excellent experiences. I would highly recommend the company, the tours and Sudan. Amazing vacation!

So I searched for a yoga package, found the Nepal Hiking website online, and joined this amazing trip to Nepal. I practised yoga every day and explored the beautiful country. It was so much fun!

A wonderful yoga trek in Nepal thanks to our guides. We spent 7 days together around Kathmandu valley and shared precious moments. Sudan and Gakul, our guides and yoga teachers, know a lot about their country and yoga philosophy. So they were able to adapt to our expectations. The walking rhythm was perfect. Yoga sessions were welcomed by mind and body. Bhairam, who co-owns the business, was very careful. He welcomed us warmly, often asked about our news and prepared a memorable end of the trip.
