Quick Overview of 7-day Everest Base Camp Trek
Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (35 minutes), and then trek to Phakding (3-4 hours). Upon arrival, your adventure begins as you head towards Phakding.
Day 2: Start your day with a trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, which takes about 6-7 hours. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views as you make your way through the Everest region.
Day 3: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche, a journey of 5-6 hours. Don’t forget to visit the Tengboche Monastery, one of the most iconic landmarks of the region.
Day 4: Continue your trek from Tengboche to Dingboche, a 5-6 hour walk that takes you through stunning landscapes and closer to the towering peaks.
Day 5: Head from Dingboche to Lobuche, which takes about 5-6 hours. As you ascend, the majestic mountains become even more impressive, offering breathtaking views along the way.
Day 6: Embark on a 7-8 hour trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp. After spending time at the base camp, retrace your steps and return to Gorak Shep.
