Despite the absence of towering peaks like those found in other Himalayan regions, Helambu boasts stunning views of the Langtang Himalayan range (7246m), Dorje Lakpa(6988m), Gaurishankar Himal (7415m), Ganesh Himal (7406m), and Jugal Himal.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu airport (Tribhuvan International Airport)

Pick up and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. Your overnight stay will be at Kathmandu Suite Home or a nearby hotel of similar standard.

Day 2Kathmandu to Chisapani (2134m)

Pick up and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. Your overnight stay will be at Kathmandu Suite Home or a nearby hotel of similar standard.

Day 3Chisopani to Kutumsang (2446m)

After breakfast, you will begin your trek to Kutumsang, which takes approximately 7 hours from Chisopani. You will pass some fine villages such as Pathi Bhangyang and Gul Bhanjyang and finally reach Kutumsang.
Overnight at guesthouse (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Day 4Kutumsang to Magen Goth (3514m)

Today’s trek duration is shorter but more scenic. Continuing the trek for 3 hours and enjoying the view of beautiful peaks, Jungle, you will reach Magen Goth.

Day 5Magen Goth to Melamchi Gaon (2640m)

Following the trail for 6 hours from Magen Goth, Melamchi Gaon is reached via Tharepati (3650m), where different floras are present. Equally, the view will tranquillize you with the beauty of the landscape.
Overnight at guesthouse (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Day 6Melamchi Gaon to Tarke Ghyang (2743m) and Sermathang (2621m)

Take Ghyang is a parallel village in terms of altitude, culture and natural beauty. To reach TarkeGhyang from Melamchi Gaon, you will trek for about 5 hours after crossing Melamchi Khola.

In this region, there are mainly 3 villages- Melamchi Gaon, Tarke Gyang and Sermathang. As the local area Buddhism followers, there are Buddhist monasteries in every village. You will visit the monasteries while you are there!
With an easy pace in 3-4 hours, you will reach Sermathang.
Overnight at guesthouse (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Day 7Sermanthang to Melamchi Pul (846m) & Kathmandu

Crossing beautiful meadows and villages, you will reach Melamchi Pul Bazar in 4-5 hours and then drive back to Kathmandu with some bumpy as well as pitch roads for 3-4 hours, concluding the trip to Helambu valley.
Overnight at guesthouse (breakfast included).

Day 8Departure
